El
Proyecto Salvavidas iniciado en el año 2015 es una iniciativa que pretende
concienciar de la importancia de tener una vida más saludable, de la necesidad
de aprender técnicas de reanimación y primeros auxilios, así como lograr una
mayor implantación de desfibriladores semiautomáticos.
Un desfibrilador semiautomático (DESA) lo puede usar cualquier persona con un mínimo de formación. En países de nuestro entorno se encuentran presentes en todos los edificios públicos y privados con una afluencia de más de 100 personas al día.
Para desarrollar este proyecto, el centro dispone de un dispositivo DESA y la formación necesaria para su utilización.
